The Globe and Mail – Journalism Matters

The Globe and Mail is Canada’s most authoritative newsroom, deeply committed to the pursuit of honest, balanced reporting. Next year will mark The Globe’s 175th anniversary, and they’re looking for bold ideas to declare their conviction that journalism with integrity matters, now more than ever.

Here are some important points about the Rules:

 

  • The competition is open to residents from any country.
  • There is no cost to participate and no limit on how many submissions you can enter.
  • Judging criteria is simple: 50% on brief / 50% creativity.
  • Awards cover the transfer of rights for winning entries.
  • You retain the rights to your submission unless you are compensated.
  • If you partner with another user, the person who enters must accept any awards for the team.
