barkTHINS was a recent acquisition for Hershey’s, and they were looking for a ‘thumb-stopping’ digital and social video campaign to build awareness for their new chocolate snack. Our strategy focused on how simple ingredients can make an extraordinary snack – a kind of ‘less is more’ proposition. The creative competition generated an incredible range of innovative concepts. We refined and produced the selected idea, dramatizing the product’s basic ingredients with extreme close up photography, elegant lighting and subtle camera movement to reinforce its premium quality. The campaign delivered an extraordinary 25 pt lift in branded ad recall and 8 pt lift in brand awareness.
