There was once an oceanographer who employed 1000 people to thread the largest fishing net the world had seen. His intention was to cast the giant net over the ocean in order to learn a universal truth about sea life.
He cast his net and waited, the years passed and after he finally brought in his catch and studiously examined its cargo, he proudly proclaimed that the smallest fish in the sea was 3 inches long.
And so it became a truth until the day his young son said quietly and respectfully:
‘Father the smallest holes in your net were three inches big.’
The fish we catch are always relative to the size of the holes in our net.
